Noah Guthier

Madison, WI

BFA Class of 2019

Where did you train?

Beginning at age three, I trained at various studios learning ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary. Most recently, I attended  Interlochen Arts Academy and graduated in 2015, where I studied and trained during my last two years of high school. My training also includes Ballet Chicago, Pennsylvania Ballet and the School of Madison Ballet.

What inspires you?

My wish to see dance used not only as a means of entertainment, but to influence social issues as well.

Describe yourself in three words

Stable. Compassionate. Humble.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

My favorite band is the Steve Miller Band.

What does it mean to be a part of USC Kaufman’s inaugural class?

Being a part of the inaugural class means so much more than just being the first group of students to attend the school. It means that I’ve been given the chance to make history and become a part of the future of dance.
