BFA Class of 2022

Where did you train?

I grew up in a competition studio, training in all styles from hip hop to ballet to jazz. In my senior year, I made the decision to switch studios to Wexford Dance Academy to focus more on ballet and pointe.

What inspires you?

Music inspires me the most. I love how different genres of music prompt me to move my body in completely different ways. I love that as an artist I can move to any piece of sound, not even specific music but just the subtle, natural noises in any setting.

Describe yourself in three words.

Extroverted. Bubbly. Driven.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

I’m from Pittsburgh where everyone loves sports, so I love watching football and get super into the games!

What does it mean to be a part of USC Kaufman?

To be a part of USC Kaufman means I made it one step closer to transforming my love of dance into my livelihood. USC is a gateway into such a deeper experience and relationship with dance. One of the most exciting things for me is to be surrounded by the diverse pool of dancers. I will learn tremendously from all the beautiful artists around me because they will push me out of my comfort zone.
