USC Kaufman Commencement Ceremony

The USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance Class of 2024 will graduate on Friday, May 10. Founded in 2012, USC Kaufman is one of six art schools at the University of Southern California and, at the time of its founding, was the university’s first new school in nearly 40 years. ARRIVAL TO CAMPUS:

Gates to Commencement Activities will open for guests at 8:00AM. Please allow up to 2 hours to park, go through security, enjoy campus, and get seated. We recommend arriving to campus by 8:30am.

PARKING:

• Parking is free, and is first-come, first-served for guests.
• We recommend parking in the USC Shrine Structure or the Royal Street Structure (ADA Accessible) for the most convenient access to the venue.

TICKETS:

• Tickets are required for entry.
• Information on how to claim your tickets and register your guests is available here. 
• Ticket(s) must be presented on a mobile device. Printed tickets WILL NOT be accepted.
• Download your ticket(s) prior to arriving to campus; on-campus wi-fi service may not be available or limited due to the large crowds.

GETTING TO FOUNDERS PARK:

• Pedestrian Access Points will be located around campus. Refer to Commencement Map.   
• For the most convenient access to Founders Park, we recommend guests enter at either:
  • 34^th Street & Trousdale Parkway
  • 34^th Street & Watt Way

SECURITY CHECK & CLEAR BAG POLICY:

• You will need to pass through a security screening to access Commencement activities. 
• Please allow at least 30-45 minutes to pass through the security screen. 
• Please note a clear bag policy will be in effect. All bags, backpacks, and other containers will be prohibited with the following exceptions:
  • One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12” by 6” by 12”, or; 
  • A one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar). 
  • In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.

SEATING:

• Guest seating in Founders Park is first-come, first-served beginning at 10:15 AM

  • You can also access the stream day of by going to commencement.usc.edu. To register: just enter your name, email, and agree to the terms and conditions. Navigate to USC Kaufman’s Ceremony by following the on-screen prompts.
