The 2023-2024 academic year officially came to a close on Friday, May 10, the day friends, family, faculty and staff descended upon campus to celebrate the sixth graduating class of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance.

The celebratory occasion featured addresses by Dean Julia M. Ritter, USC Kaufman’s founder and lead benefactor, Glorya Kaufman, student speaker Jada Vaughan, and guest speaker Phil Chan, co-founder of Final Bow for Yellowface.

“Treat yourself like royalty,” said Chan. “There’s no guarantee in life that says you’ll be treated the way you deserve, so do it for yourself.”
