Garen Scribner
Artist in Residence
Garen Scribner is a producer, manager, and stager. He is the creator/host of the broadcast series Broadway Sandwich (3 seasons/26 episodes, 6 Emmy Nominations) and the creator/executive producer of And The Tony Nominees Are, both for PBS. He was a soloist with San Francisco Ballet and artist of Nederlands Dans Theater 1 before starring in An American in Paris on Broadway. Additional credits include Tony in West Side Story and Gabey in “On the Town” in Jerome Robbins’ Broadway (The MUNY), Harry in Brigadoon (Pittsburgh CLO), and The Matador in La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera. On TV, Garen co-starred on Ray Donovan (Showtimes) and has starred in national commercials for brands like Moncler, Valentino, L’Oréal, Emergen-C, and the NY Lottery. Garen earned a Master’s of Public Administration at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government (May, ’22) and owns and operates Pilot MGMT, an artist management firm representing clients like Bobbi Jene Smith, Or Schraiber, Dani Rowe, Jack Ferver, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Jermaine Spivey, Spenser Theberge, James Whiteside, Cassie Trenary, and Reid + Harriet Design, to name a few.
