A first-year applicant is any student currently enrolled in high school or who has graduated from high school and never attended college. This may include students from non-traditional academic backgrounds, such as homeschooled students, students completing high school online and students who chose to pursue a professional career after high school.
First-year applicants must submit the following materials:
- USC Undergraduate Application, which is on the Common Application. Be sure to select “Regular Decision” and select dance as one of your intended majors. Also, follow up with any supplementary materials, such as transcripts and a letter of recommendation.
- USC Kaufman Portfolio for First-Year Applicants on SlideRoom, which is accessed through the Common Application.
Please note that the university is test optional this year. The SAT or Act is not required for applicants to Fall 2023.
