DANC399 Maymester: Dance Capitals of the World
Students will engage in multiple lines of inquiry related to choreographic thinking, emergent technology, fashion design, and interdisciplinary approaches to Hip Hop (Social Dance, Popping, Breaking, Emceeing, Djing, Graffiti, and Music Production). Key partnerships with Studio Wayne McGregor, the Centre for Blended Realities (Falmouth University), the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Academy Breakin’ Convention at Sadler’s Wells East. Students will gain an understanding of a broad range of contemporary practices in dance and related fields, reflect on their own position in the field, and integrate diverse themes into their own artistic portfolios.

Cost: $3,600 Program Fee + Additional Incidentals
- Includes shared hotel accommodation with kitchen and some cultural activities. Students are on their own for meals.
