Addison Middleton (she/her)

Las Vegas, NV

BFA Class of 2029

Where did you train?

I began my dance training at Signature Dance Academy in San Diego, CA before moving to Las Vegas to train at the Rock Center for Dance. I attended Las Vegas Academy of the Arts for high school, and transitioned to the School of Nevada Ballet Theater my sophomore year. I have also attended many summer intensives and other programs that have contributed to my growth as an artist at places such as The Juilliard School, Ballet BC, Arts Umbrella, Hyphen Art House, Alonzo King Lines Ballet.

What inspires you?

The work ethic of those around me inspires me the most. I am constantly seeking ways to improve myself as an artist, and seeing the different approaches my peers take to their training motivates me to do better.

Describe yourself in three words.

Dedicated. Hard-Working. Meticulous.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

I have a dog named Charlie who is allergic to humans!

What does it mean to be a part of USC Kaufman?

Being part of USC Kaufman honestly means the world to me, and I still can’t believe it’s my reality. I’ve dreamed of joining a community of extremely talented and driven individuals for so long, but I never thought I’d actually get the chance to be part of one as special as Kaufman. I’m ecstatic to grow under the guidance of invested mentors and alongside dedicated artists over the next four years. What excites me most is the growth I’ll experience—both as a dancer and as a human being.
