Originally from Greenacres, Florida, Alexander Thomas is a 21-year-old multifaceted artist who trained in all genres of dance since the age of two. An alumnus of Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts, his collaboration with Nike for their Black History Month film in 2020 led to the founding of his own nonprofit organization “Styles 4 Smiles,” aimed at uplifting, providing assistance to, and mentoring kids living in underprivileged and foster care communities.
Currently living and actively working in Los Angeles, California, Alexander is a signed actor and dancer who has been a part of many national commercials and films while accumulating knowledge in a variety of art forms. Emerging as a DJ, fashion creator, model, and social media influencer during his time in Los Angeles, Alexander has built a platform filled with diverse artistic creations. During his time at USC, he has worked with Peter Chu, Toyin Sogunro, Micaela Taylor, Tessandra Chavez, Hope Boykin, and many other world-renowned artists who have opened his eyes to both the concert world and commercial world, two areas he intends on pursuing in after college.
Beyond his personal achievements, Alexander’s impact extends to his community and beyond. Alexander’s work serves as a beacon of joy, inspiration, and inclusivity. Through his lived experiences and philosophy, he has learned that every challenging moment presents an opportunity for growth and transformation, leading to his guiding quote: “Out of every crisis comes an opportunity.”
