Ava Sine is a hybrid artist, born in London, England, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ava began dancing at the age of three, where she trained at Just Off Broadway and The School for Creative and Performing Arts. Her love for theater and performance grew when she was cast as Clara for two seasons in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes. Ava was also honored to be cast in Drew and Lea Lachey’s first production of Label∙Less. In addition to performance opportunities, she always looked to further her dance education and spent her summers at intensives including Miami City Ballet and The Juilliard School.

Ava is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, where she is honored to be a USC merit scholarship recipient as well as a Glorya Kaufman endowed scholarship recipient. At USC, she has had the opportunity to perform the works of Justin Peck, Jiří Kylián, Kyle Abraham, Dwight Rhoden, and Paul Taylor, among others. Ava also appreciates the opportunities she has had with Saleemah E. Knight and Fiona Lummis. One of the highlights of Ava’s four years at Kaufman was attending the Maymester in Paris. This program allowed her to indulge in the rich history of dance and music that lives in the city.

In addition to her BFA in dance, Ava has pursued a minor in Cinematic Arts at the USC School for Cinematic Arts. She was particularly interested in choreography for the camera and how dance is viewed and can be improved on screen. Upon graduation, Ava hopes to have a professional dance career in both the concert and commercial industries, as well as continue to help cultivate an inclusive community.
