Eloise Valero (she/her) is a Filipina-American dance artist born in New York, NY. She grew up training at Downtown Dance Factory in Lower Manhattan, training in jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip hop. Later, she trained at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Arts studying various modern techniques such as Horton, Graham, and Limón alongside ballet. During her high school years, she was a member of the MOVE|NYC| Young Professionals Program, under the direction of Nigel Campbell and Chanel DaSilva, where she was able to expand her movement within contemporary dance. Additionally, she received training at American Ballet Theatre and The Ailey School Junior Division Summer Intensive.

Her training led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance as a part of the class of 2027 at the University of Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. There she has had the opportunity to perform repertory by artists including Spenser Theberge, Jiří Kylián, Hope Boykin, Martha Graham, Bret Easterling, and Jackie Kopcsak. As a mover, Eloise hopes to perform with a contemporary dance company that allows her to utilize her training and explore movement through process. She also has a great interest in pursuing commercial work within a contemporary dance lens, hoping to combine her interests in fashion marketing and creative directing with dance. As a creator, Eloise is interested in continuing her exploration of movement through creation inspired by lived experience and her research in feminist theory.
