Enzy began their artistic journey at Devore Dance Center in Hollis, Queens, where they joined the competitive team and trained in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and Afrobeat. Alongside dance, they studied martial arts at S.U.S. Self Defense, gymnastics at Power Moves, and explored modeling—experiences that deeply shaped both their artistry and sense of self.
During high school, Enzy attended the Professional Performing Arts School, majoring in dance while also training at the Alvin Ailey School and Manhattan Youth Ballet. They further expanded their perspective as a young artist through opportunities with MOVE|NYC|, the Juilliard Dance Summer Intensive, Twyla Tharp workshops, and a Scotland Exchange program with the Scottish Ballet Company.
Enzy continued their studies at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, immersing themself in a wide range of techniques including ballet, house, waacking, West African, contemporary, and commercial jazz. At Kaufman, they began to define their personal movement interests, broadening their creative expression. Their professional experiences include training with A.I.M and Gallim, serving as rehearsal assistant for Dual Rivet, as well as performing for the LA Sparks and interning at Cross Colours.
Most recently, Enzy has been exploring the intersections of martial arts and contemporary dance, designing costumes, and choreographing works that fuse contemporary and social dance forms. Looking ahead, they aspire to perform with both Contemporary and Hip-Hop companies, create original choreography, and ultimately produce multi-hyphenate shows that reflect the diverse influences shaping their artistry.
