Where did you train?
I trained at Columbia City Jazz Conservatory in Lexington, South Carolina for 14 years.
What inspires you?
I am extremely inspired by the emotions within myself that ultimately transform into expression through movement. The various emotional aspects of myself, good or bad, are what drive my movement. Ultimately, my greatest inspiration in dance stems from my emotional aspects as a human being.
Describe yourself in three words.
Vivacious. Vulnerable. Passionate.
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I love Hamilton, I’ve been stung by a Jellyfish, and I’m a foodie but picky.
What does it mean to be a part of USC Kaufman?
Being part of Kaufman means being a part of a nurturing school where I can train and ultimately reach my goals. To me, Kaufman is a community where various artists can grow, collaborate, and interact. Within these four years at USC Kaufman, I desire to make lifelong connections and to evolve into a well rounded artist and human being.
