Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
BFA Class of 2020
Where did you train?
I have trained at several places: Estudio del Angel, Danza Tellez, Ballet Austin and Southland Ballet Academy.
What inspires you?
Music! I’ve had a love of music and dance since I was really young, and I can’t live without them. Music awakens my passion, moves my soul and pushes my limits to explore movement. I am also deeply inspired by mom as well as my friend and mentor Christina Lyon. Both of them have believed in me and taught me so many important things in life. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without their support.
Describe yourself in three words.
Loyal. Passionate. Hardworking.
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I sometimes play guitar and sing at open mic nights. I also love chai lattes and anything with Nutella.
What does it mean to be a part of USC Kaufman?
Being part of USC Kaufman means the world to me. I’ve always wanted both a degree and a professional dance career. I believe that USC will provide our class with that opportunity and I am extremely grateful for it. As a dancer, my desire is to learn from the best choreographers and teachers as they provide not only instruction but inspiration. DANCE ON 2020!
