What inspires you?

In the dance world, I’m attracted to unique and different ways of movement and choreography. Specifically, I am more intrigued by intricate and thoughtful movement rather than technique and flexibility. To me, artistry and passion are more captivating than how many turns someone can do. I am also attracted to dances and dancers that really connect with the music they are using. Connecting with the music and using intricate moves and transitions, shows maturity and creativity within the dancer which I find more enticing.

What does it mean to be apart of USC Kaufman?

Being apart of USC Kaufman is one of the biggest honors and achievements of my entire dance career. USC Kaufman will not only shape me for the rest of my life, but also help me to grow connections and obtain new skills and practices that I would never have believed were possible. I can’t wait for this year and the next 4 because I truly believe they will be the best and most fulfilling years of my dance career thus far.
