Rhaine Marquardt grew up training with YYC Dance Project and Alberta Ballet School in Calgary, Canada. Awarded the USC Kaufman Artistic Excellence Scholarship and the USC Glorya Kaufman Endowed Scholarship, Rhaine began her post-secondary education at USC Kaufman as a BFA Dance Major and a Business Minor. A passionate leader rooted in bold, empowered expression, she received recognition for her academic and artistic prowess as a member of the Student Advisory Board Curriculum Committee and Co-Director of the Southern California Choreographic Collective.

At USC, Rhaine has performed work by several renowned artists, including Darrell Grand Moultrie, Bret Easterling, Jillian Meyers, and JA Collective, training in dance forms encompassing Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Gaga, House, and more. Her performance experience includes professional corporate, luxury fashion, and fundraising events for companies including Hermes, WestJet, and The Reassembly. An impassioned choreographer, Rhaine has not only presented work in Los Angeles and Calgary, but also in London through the Trinity Laban x USC Kaufman CoLab Program. Additionally, she was named the 2025 New Century Dance Project Choreography Grand Prize Winner in New Mexico.

In her future endeavors, Rhaine aspires to dance with concert dance companies and choreograph work that embodies the complexity of the human experience. Integrating her scholarly, artistic, and leadership pursuits, she is also devoted to advancing resource equity between artists and athletes in sport. Rhaine is committed to ensuring artists gain access to the financial support they deserve, with interest in artist advocacy, developing brand partnerships, with additional aspirations in entertainment law.
