Born and raised in New Jersey, Sasha Zitofsky, grew up dancing and performing in local musical theatre shows. Sasha began dancing at the age of seven, and started his pre-professional experience including commercial work with KidZ Bop and a featured performer in the renowned Radio City Christmas Spectacular. While pursuing his BFA in Dance at USC Kaufman, Sasha continues to study marketing and production as it relates to the film and entertainment industry. His USC experience includes the study of filmmaking, production and performing the role of A-rab in USC’s West Side Story, and contemporary dance works by Dwight Rhoden, Alejandro Cerrudo, Barak Marshall, William Forsythe and Matthew Neenan. He has trained with Jodie Gates, William Forsythe, Thomas McManus, Bruce McCormick, Zippora Karz, Bret Easterling, Patrick Corbin, Kathryn Dunn, Shannon Gillen and Anne Plamondon. He hopes to combine his knowledge of film and dance to direct and create films diving deep into human emotions and connection.
