Where did you train?
Master Ballet Academy and Club Dance Studio.
What inspires you?
I aspire to seek inspiration on a daily basis. However, my greatest inspiration is derived from my family. I constantly strive to be like my mother: unconditionally supportive and endlessly compassionate. My brother’s unwillingness to give up inspires my personal determination and work ethic. My father’s and grandma’s ability to prioritize others’ needs over his own influences my inclination to be selfless.
Describe yourself in three words.
I am determined.
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I have double-jointed elbows.
What does it mean to be a part of USC Kaufman?
Dance is more than an art form. It has become an integral part of our society and culture. It influences entertainment, style, fashion, and media as a whole. Kaufman possesses three components that make it uniquely special. One, it has a state-of-the-art facility that is truly incredible. Two, for their faculty, USC Kaufman has amassed some of the top innovative visionaries of our time. The opportunity to work with these individuals is truly epic. Their choreographers and professors have embraced all different styles of dance, which creates hybrid artists. This appeals to me because I have been trained as a hardcore breakdancer along with everything in-between. Three, USC Kaufman is a tight-knit community of highly-qualified and skilled artists, which promotes growth as a dancer and human. These three elements cultivate and breed a new generation of dancers. I am so thrilled to influence and be inspired by this new movement of dance occurring on campus at USC Kaufman.
