Stella Wong is a queer dancer and choreographer from New York City. They grew up training at Downtown Dance Factory working with choreographers such as Al Blackstone, Akira Uchida, and Lucy Vallely. They later trained at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Arts, and at A.I.M Summer Intensive. They also attended CLI Summer Intensive receiving a full scholarship award.

Their training led them to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance as a part of the class of 2027 at the University of Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. There they have had the opportunity to perform repertory by artists including JA Collective, Jiří Kylián, Spenser Theberge, and Sara Silkin. They have a love for choreography and presented works for Kaufman shows each year, including their piece, “Exit To The Left” in Advanced Composition. They also choreographed “Crying Time” and “Spring Breakers” for USC Artscape(POV) and “Subduction” for Kiss My Face NYC, an authored dance variety show.

Their goal is to start their own performance company and blend multidisciplinary art forms. Their creative work is defined by a distinct fusion of theatrical storytelling and gestural contemporary movement, creating a physical language that is as narrative as it is precise. Deeply rooted in the values of identity and genuineness, Stella prioritizes radical authenticity in every project, whether they are building a visual world through styling or crafting evocative choreography. Their approach transforms the stage into a space for honest expression, ensuring that the unique essence of the individual remains at the heart of their artistic vision.
