Dylan Balka is a NYC-based dance artist, choreographer, and teacher, currently working with Pony Box Dance Theatre and other freelance projects. At USC, Dylan interned with Dancers Responding to AIDS (DRA), where he prepared for and volunteered on-site for Fire Island Dance Festival. He also interned with Gibney as a Digital Media Initiative Intern. On campus, Dylan produced the second annual Spring Showcase of the SC Choreographic Collective, and raised over $2,000 for DRA in its first philanthropic fundraiser. Dylan hopes to blend his passions for performance, collaborative creation and activism into his career within the dance community.

“Throughout my career, I want to blend passions of performance, collaboration, aesthetic and activism into thoughtful narratives,” he said.
