Wyeth Walker is from Virginia Beach, Virginia, where his training under Denise Wall. His training exposed him to a variety of artists and dance styles, and sparked his interest in choreography, anatomy and dance education. The training led to assisting Ms. Wall and faculty at national dance conventions, and introduced him to commercial and concert dance opportunities including working with Mandy Moore, Peter Chu and Travis Wall.

Walker’s fascination with dance led him to completing his BFA in Dance at USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance in a range of techniques including hip-hop, ballet and contemporary. He has performed works by Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe, Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor, Doug Varone, Barak Marshall and Jermaine Spivey among others. Walker also created work for the screen with Aidan Carberry, Andrew Winghart and Dwight Rhoden. He avidly pursues improvisational studies, investing time cyphering in house and breaking, and researching Gaga and Forsythe methods for improvisation and composition.

Walker hopes to follow his interdisciplinary interests on a path of performance, creation and education, continuously learning and researching the art and culture of dance in addition to using the collective movement languages to best express his artistic and personal voice.
