USC Kaufman Town Hall and Collective Call to Action

Our country is in mourning after the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Nina Pop, Tony McDade, Dreasjon Reed and the countless other Black lives at the hands of police. We grieve for those who have died and for those who continue to be brutalized by this ongoing issue. We condemn violence against Black people and the systemic racism that pervades our society.

To that end, and in response to the calls to action from our faculty of color, we are organizing a Town Hall for the USC Kaufman community. This virtual conversation is intended as a brave space for USC Kaufman BFA students, alumni, faculty and staff, and is the first of many to come. This Town Hall and Collective Call to Action will take place on Wednesday, June 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT. More details and Zoom link to follow.

We hope you will join us for this important event and look forward to engaging with you in this vital discourse. Black lives matter.
