Earlier this semester, USC Kaufman shared the stage with Japanese musical sensation Yoshiki as part of his 2023 Classical World Tour. The program featured Yoshiki performing a musical rendition of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovky’s Swan Lake, with a ballet variation staged by professor Jackie Kopcsak and performed by USC Kaufman BFA students. The performance was recorded in front of a live audience at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
