USC Campus was abuzz with Trojan spirit as families arrived from all around the world for Trojan Family Weekend. On November 6 and 7, 2025, Kaufman hosted a variety of engaging events as part of the university-wide annual celebration.

In the mornings, families were invited to sit in and observe the BFA students’ technique classes. Family members got an up-close look at the Kaufman philosophy and rigor and got to watch their students in their element. There was also a building tour, where families could see the incredible facilities and resources available to students.

On Thursday evening, Kaufman hosted Soph Launch, a showcase of BFA student choreography. The performance was the culmination of the second year’s fall choreography and composition course.

On Friday, Dean Julia M. Ritter and faculty member Tiffany Bong spoke on a panel featuring Kaufman Connections, Kaufman’s premier community engagement program. After the panel, students and their families showcased their Trojan spirit at the annual Kaufman Family Taco Tailgate before heading to the USC football game.
