The directive was to fly. Ava Sine (BFA ’24) took note of the instructions from Caili Quan, former star of BalletX and one of three Artists in Residence that will present world premieres during USC Kaufman’s Fall 2023 BFA Showcase, November 30-December 2 at the Bing Theatre.
The idea is to levitate, Quan told Sine, “air hockey-style.”
