Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brendan Evans attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) where he found his love for contemporary dance while training under Jiří Kylián repetiteur, Fiona Lummis. Brendan’s profound affinity for movement investigation allowed him to perform repertory by Crystal Pite, William Forsythe, Fernando Melo and Ohad Naharin while training at USC Kaufman and international summer intensives. Brendan’s passion for choreography has grown synchronously with live performance, and he plans on continuing to develop his choreographic lens in his future career. While dance performance and choreography are at the forefront of his professional goals, Brendan eventually aspires to also have a career outside of the studio where he will combine his interests in music, business, performance art and travel.
