Dear Friends,

What a momentous year it was at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance!

From our debut performance at the Wallis Performing Arts Center, to the inauguration of a new dean, USC Kaufman students achieved new heights. Thank you to everyone who attended our shows and made a gift of support!

Before we head off for the holidays, we wanted to give you a sneak peek of what lies ahead. In January, Claude and Alfred Mann Endowed Professor Kyle Abraham and his company A.I.M. join us for a month-long residency. Then later this spring, Alvin Ailey’s Hope Boykin, choreographer Tessandra Chavez, and repetiteur for Justin Peck, Michael Breeden, will visit USC Kaufman to work with our students on new repertory and dance creation. This exciting new work will be featured April 28-30, 2022 when we return to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts for our Spring Showcase. Mark your calendars!

The opportunities that USC Kaufman provides, from working with visiting artists to live performance on a professional stage, are transformative and set our students on a trajectory for success beyond college. Your support helps us take advantage of all these opportunities and more so that our students may flourish. As we near calendar year end, we ask, if you are able, to consider supporting USC Kaufman with a gift to the USC Kaufman Annual Fund or USC Kaufman Dance Scholarship Fund.

Making a gift is easy: From your phone simply text KAUFMAN to 41444. Or visit our website and make a gift online.

Joy to you and yours this holiday season. And always, Dance on!

P.S. This year, when you make a gift by December 31st, we will send you a USC Kaufman cooling towel.
