USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance featured on KABC7

KABC7’s reporter Adrienne Alpert visited the Glorya Kaufman International Dance Center. Alpert spoke to the school’s founder and namesake Glorya Kaufman and Vice Dean and Director Jodie Gates. BFA students had the chance to share their experience within the program and showcase their work in technique class.

“Hundreds of dancers auditioned to get in to study in this state-of-the-art building. Only about 50 have been accepted… With its curving staircase and soaring ceilings, a visitor doesn’t have to be a dancer to be impressed by this facility,” said Alpert.
