USC Kaufman Dean Julia M. Ritter shared the news in a letter to the Kaufman community.
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that the Arnhold Foundation has selected USC Kaufman as a partner school for The Arnhold Summer Fellowship Program, part of the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) in New York City.
This year’s Faculty Fellow and Student Fellows are:
- Tiffany Bong, Assistant Professor of Practice
- Tyler Chang, Class of 2026
- Emmy Cheung, Class of 2026
- Cardin Chung, Class of 2026
Jody Gottfried Arnhold, Founder of DEL, is a luminary in dance education and an advocate for dance. DEL is a professional learning program in dance education based at the Harkness Dance Center at 92nd Street Y in NYC.
Since its inception in 1995, DEL has provided a welcoming and inclusive community that nurtures and supports professional learning across the lifespan. Selected student and faculty fellows are fully supported to travel and attend the DEL Summer Intensive for three weeks in New York City. The Summer Intensive curriculum includes DEL Essentials, DEL Dance for Early Childhood, and DEL Dance to Belong: An Embodied Dance History of 92NY, as well as events including a DEL Movement Sentence Choir, masterclasses, and performances.
Please join me in congratulating Professor Bong, Tyler, Emmy, and Cardin.
Dance On!
