Site-Specific Forsythe at LACMA
October 15-16, 2016
Los Angeles County Museum of Art
In conjunction with Fall for Forsythe, a month-long celebration of internationally recognized multimedia dance artist and choreographer William Forsythe, presented by The USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, The Music Center, and LACMA, LACMA will host Site-Specific Forsythe, two site-specific experiences by William Forsythe, on October 15 and 16.
Stellentstellen (2016), a live performance by dancers Rauf “Rubberlegz” Yasit and Riley Watts, is the entanglements of their intricately aligned bodies producing optical conundrums.
Forsythe’s newly created Acquisition, offered by students from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, will invite viewers to acquire the choreographic work in an apparently simple yet challenging choreographic task.
