Student Spotlight: Ausia Jones

September 9, 2016

A student of the Dallas Conservatory and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Dallas native Ausia Jones is independent, genuine, and original. She gathers inspiration from art around her, and from her mentor Ebony Williams.

“To be a part of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance means endless possibilities. This is one of the most exciting and diverse programs in the country. The diversity of the artists that I will be able to work with, the diversity of the training, the ability to focus on choreography as well as performance, and the incredible faculty were all factors in my decision to attend. To be a part of such a new and exciting program that I will have the opportunity to help influence and contribute to is definitely an honor.”
