Gallery: Spring 2024 BFA Showcase
June 7, 2024
Photo highlights from the culminating production of the 2023-2024 academic year.
Dean Julia M. Ritter had a message for the 500-plus attendees who turned out for the opening night performance of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance Spring BFA Showcase on April 25: we’re here to celebrate dance and the artists who make USC special.
That introduction set the tone for the first of four performances, the last of which took place on Saturday, April 27, at USC’s Bing Theatre. When it was all said and done, hundreds of friends, family, and dance fans from around Los Angeles came out to witness the talents of USC Kaufman BFA students, in a program that featured five world premiere performances, a new piece of repertory from one of the most prominent choreographers working today, and a collaborative experience in the production stylings of So You Think You Can Dance, spearheaded by a member of USC Kaufman’s Board of Councilors.
We invite you to view highlights of the showcase in the photo galleries below. Choreography/works are listed in show order.
