This February, more than 20 supporters of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance gathered in New York City to attend the new Broadway revival of West Side Story, in which USC Kaufman alumni Satori Folkes-Stone (BFA ’19) and Madison Vomastek (BFA ’19) are cast members.
Among the supporters present at the performance were Dean Robert Cutietta, Vice Dean and Artistic Director Jodie Gates, principal benefactor Glorya Kaufman, Artist in Residence Desmond Richardson and New York City Ballet’s Jared Angle. Both before and after the show, they spent time with West Side Story cast members– including Folkes-Stone and Vomastek– over dinner, drinks and dessert. West Side Story opens on Feb. 20.
